To get authenticated, complete these steps:

  1. Create Your API Key:
    • If you already have an API key, you can skip this step, otherwise follow the API key creation steps here.
  2. Add Your MetaTrader details:
    • Visit, https://www.jblanked.com/api/metatrader-account/, and change the "MetaTrader Account Number" field to the account number of your MetaTrader account. The account number is also known as the account login.
    • Then, change the "MetaTrader Account Name" field to the account name of your MetaTrader account.
    • Click on the "Save Changes" button.
  3. Add Your API Key to the Trading Tool:
    • Scroll down to the bottom of your profile.
    • In the "API Key Management" section, click on the "copy" button.
    • Copy the provided API key.
    • Go back to MetaTrader, open up the settings of the trading tool, and at the top of the "Inputs" tab paste your API Key into the "API Key" field.
    • Click on the "OK" button at the bottom of the "Inputs" tab.

For Authenticating Multiple Accounts:

  • If you want to authenticate two accounts, set the "MetaTrader Account Number" field as the account number of your first account and set the "MetaTrader Account Name" field as the account name of your second account.
  • The only way to authenticate three or more accounts is to use brokers that either assign the same account name to each account that you create with them or allow you to change the account name of each account.
