Why isn't there a folder/impact available in this data?
It's purposely not included because it is inaccurate and misleading to traders. Instead, the Strength field returns the impact of the event and the Quality field returns the trend.
What time does the data refresh?
- The Forex Factory endpoints refresh at 19:01 EST (02:01 GMT+3) and 00:00 EST (07:00 GMT+3)
- The MQL5 endpoints refresh at 16:30 EST (23:30 GMT+3) and 17:35 EST (00:35 GMT+3)
- Both endpoints also refresh whenever a pre-processed news event occurs
How many events are fetched at a time?
- For the Forex Factory endpoint, event data from 00:00 EST to 23:59 EST for the current day.
- For the MQL5 endpoint, event data from 00:00 GMT+3 to 23:59 GMT+3 for the current day.
Why isn't a week's worth of event data fetched at a time?
Synchronization with our existing systems and to maintain accurate event data (event data is dynamic and changes frequently)
Sometimes the calendar/week endpoint doesn't return a full week of data. Why is that?
Since event data is fetched day-by-day, the event data for the current week will only show event data up to the current date.
What timezone is the event data in by default?
GMT+3
